All Swiss Military watches are waterproof (water-resistant) to at least 5 ATM (50 metres), very robust and fitted with a special scratch-resistant mineral glass or a scratch-proof sapphire glass.
The cases are all made from stainless steel (with very few exceptions) and the gilt parts are plated with 5 microns.
